Frequently Asked Questions

Does Stride offer the same medical quality as going to a Podiatrist?

Yes! And in many ways better. Just like in the clinic, you capture a 3D foot scan, record a gait analysis, and answer key questions about your foot health. You can even request a 1:1 consultation with a member of the Stride team. All this in just 5 minutes and a fraction of the cost.

Your information is then analyzed by our podiatrists who then craft your custom orthotics, designed to alleviate your pain and improve your health.

Don't take our word for it... Stride is Prescribed by doctors at top podiatry clinics worldwide.

Why not use a foam impression box?

Studies show 3D smartphone scans are more accurate & more effective at treating foot pain.

Plus without back and forth shipping, get your orthotics weeks faster!

When/How do I scan my feet & provide the gait video?

After completing your purchase, we will send you detailed instructions to your email to begin the scan and gait recording process.

The entire process takes around 5 minutes. If you require additional assistance email us at team@stridesoles.com.

All steps can be completed with an iOS or Android Device.

What if I don't like my Stride Soles?

If your orthotics aren't right, we'll remake them until they are -- at no extra cost. Still not satisfied? Return them within 180 days for a refund.

Less than 1% of customers ever ask for a refund.

I have a diagnosis or orthotics from my Podiatrist. Will you work with me?

Yes of course! In the open-ended portion of the questionnaire please enter your prescription/information and we will build your orthotics accordingly.

You may also send any documents to team@stridesoles.com with subject "Podiatrist Review".

Finally, if you want an exact replica of your existing orthotics, we have the ability to provide that service for an additional $25 USD. Please write us at team@stridsoles.com for more information.

Does insurance cover Stride?

We currently accept HSA/FSA cards, as well as doctor notes indicating patient need.

Unfortunately, most insurance companies do not cover custom orthotics, so we do not partner with any.

How long until I feel relief?

For 80% of patients, relief is immediate as your arches get the needed support.

For others, relief is gradual over two weeks as your body gets used to the support and improved gait mechanics.

Note: At first, wearing custom orthotics may feel funny or even leave you a bit sore. This is completely normal and evidence that the orthotics are working -- and not just gel cushions from a department store.

How long do Stride last?

Stride Soles will last 3-5 years, depending on patient weight and usage.

All custom orthotics come with a 3 year quality guarantee. If the product is damaged within that period, simply reach out to us and we will replace your orthotics, free of charge.

What shoes do Stride fit?

Stride provides custom orthotics for the following shoe types:

  • Dress Shoes
  • Sneakers
  • Boots
  • Running
  • Basketball
  • Pickleball
  • Golf
  • Soccer
When will my Stride Soles arrive?

Stride Soles custom orthotics will arrive in 10-15 days. This includes production and shipping.

Need your orthotics sooner? We also offer Express (7-10 days) and Skip the Line (3-5 days) upgrades at checkout.

What conditions do your orthotics help with?

Custom orthotics are a first line treatment for flat feet, plantar fasciitis, ankle instability, arthritis, pronation, supination, limb-length discrepancy, morton’s neuroma, fractured bones, patellofemoral syndrome, posterior tibialis syndrome, and many other musculoskeletal conditions.

Strides are more than just a medical treatment. Our insoles are specifically designed to prevent injury by correcting postural issues before injuries occur.
