I thought the claims were kind of exaggerated, but I thought I’d give Stride a try since I have a triathlon coming up. Two weeks in and I hit a new PR. Unreal.
If you are in the market for some well made orthotics, put Stride on your radar. They combine great construction with those who need dependable footwear.
Process:
The whole process took about 3 minutes, just as they said it would. I first answered a few questions about my pain areas and then had to scan my feet. I don’t have an iphone, so I just borrowed my partners, so that wasn’t too bad. It was a little awkward to have my foot hover over my phone, but I got it to work eventually. The resulting image of my foot was really interesting. I didn’t realize my foot was so flat. I then had her film me walking towards and away from the camera, which was the last step
Customer Service:
I accidentaly put my old address as the shipping address but Stride was able to resolve the whole thing very quickly. I actually talked to Zac, one of the co-founders on the phone, so we had a nice conversation about my background. Nice fellow.
Product:
I really like the Stride orthotics. The whole thing is of this really light but pretty strong plastic. There looks to be two foam layers on top which are giving me some much needed cushion. I got the orthotics for my arch pain, which has for the most part gone away.
Value:
I paid $100 for my Stride’s. This is much less than my previous $300 orthotics I got from my podiatrist. Looking at the two side by side, it looks like the shape is quite similar. I notice the Stride one is lighter though, which is really nice.
Conclusion: Stride excels in offering custom orthotics which can be bought from home. They are a great reliable option for anyone who needs something more than off-the-shelf orthotics.
How did I not find you sooner!
I use these in my pickleball shoes as after a few rounds running up to the kitchen, I can feel a burn in my feet. I really liked how their website said that there would be a doctor who would help with the pain, so I knew I was in good hands. I’ll continue to use these and go back in the future.
These aren’t the most comfortable orthotics in the sense that there are squishier ones. However, these do the tricks of making my foot pain go away where others didn’t. It feels like these are actual medical.
They have my name engraved on the bottom. Such a cool touch.
Previously I’d go to the doctors office and pay close to $500 for my orthotics. I think I payed $150 for my Stride’s after the discount. They are pretty much the same product, so I definitely recommend Stride unless you want to give the old doctors more cash.
Stride exceeded all of my expectations. After ordering, I asked for an additional adjustment as I had forgotten to mention it on the health assessment form. They responded within 5 minutes and built my insoles exactly as I needed them.
I was sick of getting Dr. Scholl’s and Superfeet that I’d have to cut with scissors, and they would break down after a few months, so I went with Strides, and I’m never going back. Crazy how much the customization helps.
Stride has been working so far, it’s been about 4 months. Almost all of my Plantar Fasciitis pain has gone away, along with doing some stretching and strength exersizes. My feet appreciate you!
